Dancing In The Sunlight (Open)

Post by Aquene on Sun Jul 06, 2014 1:45 pm

The aroma of salty water hitting shore entered Aquene's nose with a powerful bang. The mare really didn't have no intentions of going anyway, as she had no place important to be. Her hooves hit the sand in an elegant grace. The south beach wasn't crowded nor empty which was something Aquene loved. She was a few miles away from her usual spot, deciding to pick up the pace the female change to a full fledge run. Her hooves and the bottom of the legs getting splashed by the water.

After awhile she slowed to a gallop, but her white hair flowed in the wind. Getting to the cave that she found on the beach. Her blue eyes looked inside careful to make sure no one claimed it, and it was un claimed. Walking in Aquene's hooves clicked along the rocky floor. Lay down she looked outside, oh peace and quietness, something that she couldn't deal with. But she only hope that she is alone.

Re: Dancing In The Sunlight (Open)

The light breeze carried the scent and taste of salt water and her nostrils flared at the overpowering smell. She kept a steady pace as she walked across the beach, her hooves sending sand flying with every step. She kept her head and body high as she pranced, swinging her head around to look at all the horses that were inhabiting the beach at the time. She inhaled deeply, barely getting the scent of all the mares and stallions for the salt water was so prominent. With a grunt of slight annoyance, she resorted to simply remembering the looks of each equine, rather than smells. She moved to the water, pawing the ground where the liquid had made it damp and she watched it scoop up easily. She waded in deeper, allowing it to come up to her knees. A small wave came and lightly brushed the bottom of her belly, causing her to leave the water and stay along the shore. She walked slowly, taking her time, amused at the small spurts of water that came to make the hair around her hooves to become wet.

With a huff, she looked up as a white female was cantering past her. She jerked her head in slight curiosity, watching as the mare decreased speed until she was galloping. It was a beautiful female with all her features white, apart from her black nose. Naula watched as she turned into a cave that she, herself, had known about but didn't go into too often. She trotted up after her, once the white princess had lied down, dipping her head in greeting. "Hello, I am Naula." Of course, they were in the same herd so she had no need to introduce that factor, but she still looked upon the other in a slight friendly way. She had no disputes with any horses from her pack, this female included.

Aquene was about the close her eyes, when another voice broken her peace."Hi there,I'm Aquene." her ears twitched back for a few seconds. The mare was a greyish white, white hair that almost covered her hooves. This Naula did look quite pretty, as hers is short and plain white with her nose being black. Not much of an excitement there. The smell of the sea was quite strong making her lips curl up in disgust. Recovering from the smell, Aquene looked towards the female. What was doing here. She knew it may had sounded nosy but she looked up once more."so what have made you come to the beach today "

(Sorry if it's short, I'm doing multiple things.)

"Nice to meet you, Aquene," she replied, looking down at the mare. Her voice and name were as beautiful as her figure and the older female dipped her head, pleased to meet the kind other. She watched the look of repulsion cross over her face and wondered for a moment if it was directed at her. However, she realized it was the scent of salt water, for a breeze carried the smell, causing her to huff in irritation as well. She smiled slightly at the inquiry, tilting her head ever-so-slightly. "I suppose it is just to clear my head and enjoy the serenity of the beach. Why might you be here?" she questioned, gazing down at the female.

She did not feel particular uncomfortable standing up, though it seemed awkward at the distance at which the two looked at each other, so she lied down near the white mare, tucking her front legs beneath her and situating herself so that she was in a good position. Once she finished, she glanced up at the other, hoping it did not seem rude to have done such a thing.

[Very rushed here; sorry for the length.]

Re: Dancing In The Sunlight (Open)

A handsome black stallion walked in the water, his feathering slick with the salty water. His muscles flexed at each even stride he took, following the faint scent of mares. Green flecked eyes found the cave they were in, though he did not follow only simply observing their interactions with one another.

His features made him look calm and alurring though he was only fooling the naked eye. Having seen enough he let out a low grunt to get their attention, "if you don't mind me asking, who are you?" Delain spoke in a deep gruffy tone of voice as his head tilted slightly to the left, tail whipping the air behind him as his body came to a resting position to talk.

Aquene was about the answer Naula's question when a low grunt interrupted her. Her blue eyes looked up to see a black stallion in front of them. Flicking her ears once more."I am Aquene." she said calmly. She slowly got up before tucking her front legs in before laying back down.

The wind blow inside the cave which created a cool breeze, giving her a small chill. But who exactly is he since she seen many Other horses but not him. This caused curiosity to grow inside her but she would wait. The female looked over to the other mare and bobbed her head slightly before looking back towards the Stallion.

Her head lifted slightly at the arrival of a new voice and she grunted lightly, her deep blue eyes meeting with emerald green ones. The black stallion stood with a certain posture that made her look at him carefully for a few moments. She then realized who he was by what other horses had described him as. At the introduction of the other mare, the female stood up herself and gave a slight bow, dipping her head. "I am Naula. Nice to meet you, Delian," she spoke with a strong and confident voice, rising back to a standing position.

She got back into a lying position, tucking her front legs under her body once more. It was the lead stallion of Sanatorio, their leader. However, she did not show a submissive position. She would not lose respect to the male by acting like a fool. She was intimidating and she intended to continue to look like it.

Delian simply dipped his head as the two mares gave off their labels, "well you may have heard of me... if not then ask Naula. She seems to know me," he gave a cheeky grin at the two before walking closer. "Why have you passed into Sanatorio lands? What brings you to my pressence." Delian said as his profile calmed, makeing him look welcoming and gentle but his eyes were cold and showed little warmth as he put on his poker face.

"I am actually here to come and join your herd." the white colored mare smiled gently, she not the to crack so easily and right now his is not gain much of trust yet, she needs to keep an eye on him in case anything is to happen. Another small pasted through the cave causing her mane to bow out a bit.

Well of course she heard of him many times from other equines here and there. The history of how the herd formed was something interesting, it wouldn't even be hard for Aquene to understand what had happen. Her tail flicked with a gentle movement as she keeled her eyes looking upward to the Stallion, her ears still listening to the female beside her.

Nim trotted quietly into the known herd territory. She looked down from a small hill seeing a dark colored stallion looking into water at himself and then quickly readjusting his head to look at the mare that was beside him. The herd was small although she did not mind, as they kept talking she slowly crept up on them and stood on the side of the stallion on which neither of the other mares were located. She did not speak, but listened. She had heard of him as he said to ask Naula if they didnt. She made a soft grunting sound as the mare spoke with the name Aquene. She was not trying to be rude, but she was thinking of what to say if one of them were to look at the black spotted mare; herself.

She listened to his words with a slightly amused gaze, though she remained silent as Aquene spoke. She nodded slightly to the white mare and then spoke up herself. "I am part of your herd, if you were not aware," she snorted with a steady look at him as if daring him to claim she wasn't. It was slightly sad that he did not know his own followers, though she supposed he would in time. She glanced behind him, her deep blue eyes landing on another mare with a white coat the had black spots. Vaguely, she wondered if that would be considered eavesdropping but she decided against it, dipping her head in greeting. "Hello," she whinnied politely, having no need to be aggressive to this female.

Delian looked up, "well then welcome to the resistance!" He neighed at the two, sarcasm clearly in his voice. The obsidian stallion turned his head around to see whom Naula was looking at, "and you are..?" He spoke in a deep voice, tail whipping behind him.

Nim stared at the lightly spotted mare with lots of fluffy hair as she spoke a greetings to her. She did not say anything but dipped her head to her, she was quiet and sneaky as usual, then she turned her attention onto the stallion, as she dipped her head lower almost going into doggy play position. "I am Nim" she said speaking in a firm voice as she checked out the stallion. She did like his coat.

The white mare nodded her head to stallion, her ears flicked a few times befoe speaking again."Thank you very much." Aquene looked up to the new female as she spoke her name. It was quite a pretty name, very unique. Her blue eyes towards the opening of the cave. So much for relaxing but she didn't mind the new company that was there. She kind of like to meet new horses most of the time.

Nim felt her eyes glinting in the harsh sunlight, her eyes watered a bit, making it look like a sparkly ocean near Hawaii. She was glad that the mare didnt really want to know so much about her or that she had an odd name. She walked over to a little tree right next to the stallion and she bent her legs into a laying position and she layed like that for awhile, although leaving her head high and alert.

Delian grunted his greeting to the new horse before he shook out his mane, boredom in his strange emerald eyes. "Is there any thing you guys wish to know about me?" The large male tilted his head as he joined them by laying down, legs tucked neatly under his body. His muscles flexed and rippled as he slid down with some type of elegance.

Nim let out a cheesy smile as the stallion layed by her. She thought about his question a bit and just decided to ask a random question, since there was nothing else to do at the moment. 'hmm' she though quietly to herself. "Do you like swimming?" she just randomly asked the question, considering she liked swimming.
